PeerCollab Partners Meet in Münster for the Second Transnational Project Meeting
Focusing on pilot implementation, evaluation, and next steps for Peer Assessment in higher education
7/15/2026

On 3 July 2026, PeerCollab partners gathered in Münster, Germany, for the project’s Second Transnational Project Meeting hosted by ACEEU. The meeting provided an important opportunity for the consortium to review progress, discuss ongoing activities, and coordinate the next steps of the project.
The meeting started with a welcome and introduction session led by ACEEU and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV). This was followed by a general review of the project, including impact indicators, the Gantt chart, the overall organisation of activities, and feedback received from the Spanish National Agency.
As the activities under WP3, dedicated to the Peer Assessment training for lecturers, had already been completed, partners briefly reviewed the work carried out and reflected on the main outcomes and lessons learned. This provided a useful basis for moving forward with the next phase of the project.
The main focus of the meeting was WP4, which is dedicated to the pilot experiences in universities. Partners discussed the implementation of the pilots, exchanged updates on how the process is progressing in the different participating institutions, and reviewed the next steps for evaluation. These pilot experiences are a central part of PeerCollab, as they allow the project to test Peer Assessment strategies in real higher education settings and collect valuable feedback from lecturers and students.
During the discussion, partners also addressed practical aspects related to the pilots, including the support needed by lecturers, the collection of feedback, and the evaluation methods that will help assess the impact of Peer Assessment on teaching and learning. This exchange was important to ensure a common approach across the consortium and to strengthen the quality of the pilot phase.
Another important part of the meeting was dedicated to WP5, covering communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities. Partners reviewed ongoing dissemination actions and discussed the next steps for promoting project results, increasing visibility, and reaching relevant stakeholders across Europe. Upcoming events and the development of videotutorials were also discussed as part of the project’s wider outreach strategy.
The meeting concluded with a final summary, open questions, certificates, and a group photo. It was a productive occasion for partners to align priorities, strengthen collaboration, and agree on the next steps for the coming months.
PeerCollab continues to work towards its main objective: improving teaching quality in higher education by supporting lecturers in the effective use of Peer Assessment. Through its handbook, training activities, pilot experiences, and dissemination work, the project aims to promote more innovative, inclusive, and student-centred learning environments across Europe.
The consortium thanks ACEEU for hosting the meeting in Münster and all partners for their active participation, valuable contributions, and productive discussions.
